Intermediation of athletes
The Figer Group acts as an intermediary in negotiations involving athletes and clubs. For over 45 years, the Figer Group has been responsible for the transfer of several Brazilian and international players such as: Robinho (from Santos to Real Madrid), Ricardinho (from Corinthians to Besiktas), Edu Gaspar (from Corinthians to Arsenal ), Casemiro (from SPFC to Real Madrid), Edu Dracena (from Cruzeiro to Fenerbahce), Juan (from Flamengo to Bayer Leverkusen), Danilo (from Santos to Porto), Roberto Carlos (from Inter Milan to Real Madrid) among many other important transfers.
Soccer Career Management
The Figer Group works strategically on the development of each of the athletes’ careers that it represents, personalizing the work according to the individual needs of each athlete, which is, seeking in the football market the best opportunities for the rise of his career. The work includes cases ranging from the semi-pro to professional athletes, accompanying and acting on their behalf throughout their career, and additionally including planning for their career’s closure and transitioning into the post-active player market whether as a commentator, coach, intermediary, etc… . In addition, the Figer Group offers athletes representation, with a legal structure in partnership with the Tannuri & Ribeiro Law Firm, a financial and accounting structure, as well as full image consulting. Some of the most important athletes who have had their careers managed by the Figer Group are: Zé Roberto, Júlio Baptista, Diego Lugano, Alex de Souza, Hulk, Dunga, Muller, Silas, Ricardo Rocha, Diego Aguirre, Fábio Aurélio, Alex Silva, Marlos, and Thiago Ribeiro.
Londrina Esporte Clube
In 2010, the Figer Group assumed the management of Londrina Esporte Clube, but prior to this, the group participated in the soccer management of teams such as Primavera de Indaiatuba (SP), XV de Piracicaba (SP) and Iraty (PR) where Figer acquired expertise and later assumed management of a major club, which is still managed by Figer to the present. While managing Iraty, the Figer Group won third place in the 2010 Paranaense Championship, receiving the title of Interior Champion. The excellent campaign guaranteed a spot to compete in the D-Series of the 2010 Brazilian Championship and the 2011 Brazilian Cup. While managing the Londrina Esporte Clube (LEC), in 2011, the team won the title of 2nd Division Champion Paranaense, guaranteeing its place in the A-series. In 2012 campaign the club was able to reach fifth place, in its first year thus keeping the team in the elite of the Paranaense Soccer Clubs.
Already by the year 2013, the excellent management resulted in the first great state level achievement, the title of Champion of the Paranaense Interior. Later, the following year, the Londrina Esporte Clube (LEC) became the Paranaense Champion, which had not happened for 22 years, proving even more the good work that was being done at the club. Still in 2014, the LEC achieved its highest goal of the season. After a beautiful campaign in the Brazilian Cup, eliminated only by Santos in the third stage, having won the first leg at the Estádio do Café, Tubarão was guaranteed a spot for the C-series of the Brazilian Championship. In the year 2015, the LEC was also two-time champion of the interior of Paraná and returned to Series B of the Brazilian Championship after eleven years of waiting. In 2016, the team became three-time champion of the Interior by beating the PSTC, away from home, on penalties. With the return to Series B, the club is embarking on one of its best campaigns, seeking one of the four vacancies for Series A in 2017.
SM-Sports Training Center
In January 2010, the Figer Group began investing in the training of athletes, inaugurating a training center in the city of Londrina, which is well-known nationally in all respects, mainly in respect of ground base category. With an full green area of 156,000 square meters , the Training Center has six official sized football fields, one of which is designated for official matches, with changing rooms, squash area, sand court, and Olympic-sized pool.
Training center has a complete physical therapy clinic and medical clinic, some of the most modern in the market. The training center has the capacity to accommodate 130 athletes and all rooms are equipped with a television and air conditioning. The lodgings also have library, study room, living area, game rooms and wi-fi accessible internet. The Training Center also has a restaurant where four meals are served daily, all according to a balanced diet and controlled by nutritionists.
With the intention of expanding work in the training of young athletes, the Figer Group carries out international exchange programs at its training center in Londrina. The proposal is that young athletes, can come to learn and improve their soccer in Brazil, by training and playing with Brazilian athletes. Our training program offers an impressive physical and professional structure, as well as comfortable accommodations, nutrition balanced by nutritionists, adaptation to Brazilian culture and the Portuguese language, and tours to the main sports venues of Brazil.
In 2017, the Figer Group inaugurated one of the most modern training centers with accommodations in Brazil. The facility is available to the young talents of the Shanghai SIGP FC, a Chinese club that counts on its professional squad the Brazilian athletes Oscar, Hulk, and Elkeson, as well as the Portuguese coach André Vilas Boas.
The new accommodation covers an area of 1,100m². It has 20 suites, equipped with TV, air-conditioning and internet. The new complex will be for the exclusive use of the Chinese Club and also offers a TV room, game room, and even a small square for the purpose of integration. The delegation of the Shanghai SIGP FC U-18 has 25 athletes, some playing on the Chinese National Team, five technical committee members and a translator. For all of them, the remaining structures already used by the team LEC in the CT of SM Sports, which is housed in an area of 167,000 m², includes; gym, medical department, six fields of regulation size, swimming pool, cafeteria, laundry, administrative sector, green area, and leisure area.
