HOW DOES IT ALL WORK?

Figer Method of
Career Management

1st STEP

1. Capture

Evaluation of athletes, through indication, participation in tests or tournaments or those that fit the criteria defined by the FIGER METHOD, such as technical, physical and behavioral characteristics of the player.

2. Talent
Analysis

At this moment the athlete is analyzed for his motor, technical, physical, intellectual and emotional skills, above the average of a certain group, considering the conditions that are offered by the environment in which he finds himself.

3. Study of market
potentials

The FIGER METHOD is based on the premise that the great clubs of the world seek to hire young athletes, to combine the technical qualities with the tactical notions that are necessary for the full evolution of the player, having enough time. To bring great sports performance to the club that hired him.

= Athlete
X-Ray

At this point, we have all the information necessary to make a diagnosis of the athlete’s current moment, the strengths and weaknesses, the opportunities for improvement and the threats that may harm his career.

2nd STEP

1. Dreams
alignment

After having the athlete’s complete x-ray, it’s essential to understand what led him to be a football player and where he sees himself in 1, 3 and 6 years from now. Therefore, in this stage, our attention is focused on the athlete’s dreams in the football market. We question whether he has already defined clearly and objectively what skills and attitudes he contributes, in the short, medium and long term, to the realization of these dreams, for example.

2. Career
path

This stage, works as a guide that will collaborate for the professional success of the athlete throughout his career. When designing the career plan, the athlete needs to be clear about the professional moment he is in. From there, we will be able to trace and identify what his professional goals are, in addition to defining what will be necessary to achieve full career development. Based on this information, the athlete will know exactly which path to take and what to do to reach its maximum potential and success.

3. Goals and
objectives

It’s essential to know exactly where you want to go before defining the path to be followed. Therefore, first of all, at this stage of the FIGER METHOD, we need to determine the main goals of the athlete. It’s important to assess the strengths and weaknesses, design strategies to achieve these goals, seek references for success and have allies on a daily basis that support the athlete’s development and achievements.

4. Image
management

Every athlete is a public figure who is often seen as a hero, an example to be followed. Thus, in this step, it’s essential that the personal image is thought and worked according to the essence of the athlete and aligned with the expectations of his target audience (fans, clubs, companies, etc.) and, in order to further leverage your success.

= Achievements and next chapters

In the last stage, the athlete evaluates all the results obtained and the amount of goals he has achieved to then start a new cycle of development within the career or towards the new career, from the 4th stage of the method, ALIGNMENT OF DREAMS.
